Before starting, you will need the following supplies

1. A photo album with a window measuring 9 cm x 9 cm
2. A counted-stitch embroidery to fit in the window
3. Synthetic cotton fleece
4. Double-faced adhesive tape about 1 cm wide
5. A pair of scissors

All the steps described below are worked on the back of the cover.

First step

Centre the embroidery in a square measuring about 18 cm x 18 cm.
At the back of the cover, frame the window with double-faced adhesive tape and then stick the centred embroidery over it, making sure the motif is the right way up!

Second step

Cut two squares of cotton fleece measuring 9 cm x 9 cm.
Put the two square of fleece together and place them on the embroidery in the window.
Stick some double-faced adhesive tape around the Aida canvas, ensuring that it overlaps the fabric and the cardboard.
Apply some more tape, 1 cm from the edge, all around the fleece to hold it in place (see diagram ..). 

Third step

Gradually fold over the first page of the album, pressing firmly around the window.
