How to Use Tracing Paper

Embroidery Tracing Paper gives you the flexibility of transferring any design onto fabric for a unique look.  Embroidery Tracing Papers are wax-free carbon papers that come in several colors.

1.  Select the design you would like to embroider.

2.  Position the Tracing Paper with colored side down, on right side of fabric, and secure in place (tape works well).

3.  Place the printed design on top of the Tracing Paper and fabric and trace the lines using a ballpoint pen, applying pressure.

4.  Remove any additional markings by dabbing  the traced lines with a damp cloth or rubbing them off with a pencil eraser.

5.  Stitch over the traced design with DMC Pearl Cotton size 5 or Embroidery Floss.
